Good, quick serviceReceived my NB 860 quickly and was smooth process. My 22 yr old PT assistant has the same shoes and seemed surprised I wore them at 75 yrs old as I'm not a runner. They have great support and are the most stable walking/exercise shoe I've ever had. Much improved over the old 860 and more stable on my feet than the 880 I had.

Very stableI bought this model after reading all its features and determining that they were the best for my situation and I was not wrong.
I suffer from chronic plantar fasciitis and have slight pronation, so a very soft and unstable shoe is not good for me. That's why I decided to purchase these, I already had experience with the FreshFoam wide sole and the additional support it has on the part that goes from the heel to the inside of the foot.
What I do have to say is that I bought my usual size (8) and they were so tight that during a long shoot I hurt a nail that was just finishing regenerating, however, they still work for me for short workouts.
I am in love with these shoes and I will buy another pair, only this time, half a size larger.

Not HappyFor years these shoes have been stalwarts for me but this last iteration is horrible! The fit doesn’t mirror the past version - last must have changed. Had to size up and still ended up with toe chafing. Was always a believer in this style but I am now looking to other manufacturers - probably hoka. Luckily the return policy is user friendly. Boo NB

Not enough support for overpronatorsThis is one of the best updates I have experienced in a running shoe. I enjoyed v13, but the v14s are way better IMO and here's why: 1) There's more support if you're a forefoot striker and more guidance for my big toe. This is a huge deal. Overpronators ask a lot of their big toe and this shoe provides a lot more support (so far) compared to v13. 2) Walking and running in these shoes is so smooth and light/easy compared to the older version. 3) They decreased the heel to toe drop, activating the calf more, while still providing good support. Overall, I'm really impressed and hope to log some serious miles in these shoes.
*This is an attempt to update my previous review, which gave the shoe 5 stars.*
After two months, I have noticed that this shoe simply does not provide enough support for me and I have noticed pain in my hip and knee. This is a stark contrast from the last model, v13, which provided great support. I can no longer recommend this shoe.

Great stability shoeThis is a great shoe that provides stability but not overly bulky and too stiff. The midsole is fantastic as a provides great cushioning for every day training. I highly recommend these shoes for anyone with a slight overpronation issue.

Great if you overpronateI am actually getting ready to try the 880s since my overpronation is minimal, but these shoes are so comfortable for a stability shoe and I have tried many. Would definitely recommend for someone that needs stability but does not want to sacrifice comfort.

Bad updateIt's odd that New Balance ruined a good stability shoe for those that needed it by destroying it with this latest update. It's no where near as stable in the arch area after this update.

Initial Thoughts: Better than 880 and 1080I did not expect to like this shoe this much. The stability plane / EVA film is subtle but effective. I have tried many shoes including the Nimbus, Cumulus, 880, 860, 1080, Vongo, etc. I would tentatively place this in my top 3 favorite shoe to run in right now. I'm not sure if it's just a placebo but it feels more fun to run in than the 880. Like a firmer version of the 1080 with light stability.
For people with wide feet, the extra-wide 860v14 is much wider than the extra-wide Vongo V6 (which runs narrow in my opinion).
