Great upgrade, except for one thingOverall, this version of the Pegasus is much better than versions 39 and 40. It's slightly more forgiving, with a smoother ride, and about the same level of energy return. It looks great, and the materials and geometry make it a much better shoe. However, the addition of sidewalls in this shoe is gonna make or break the fit for a lot of people. I personally always got along great with the Pegasus line, but the lateral sidewalls make me feel like I'm actually over pronating in this shoe, when I have neutral mechanics in almost every other shoe I've tried. The only other shoe where I have experienced this is the Hoka Clifton line, and I cannot wear that shoe at all because of it. Hopefully Nike tones down the sidewalks in version 42 to bring this shoe back to form. My favorite thing about the peg has always been the fit, and I feel like this version loses that a little bit (at least for me).

Good after breaking inThe shows are great. Light, quick, good cushioning, comfortable. Absolutely no complaints other than one. When you first get the shoes, they are very very uncomfortable but then after a week they’re awesome. If you’re looking for a shoe that is going to be good immediately, this is not the one. Other than that, they’re great.

Great cushion and I like the archesI love these shoes because they are great everyday trainer, I have arthritis in my right foot and these shoes have just the right amount of cushioning and the arch is great too. They are not real expensive either which also makes me happy. I've been running in Nike Pegasus for 30 years.

Still the Reliable WorkhorseThe Pegasus is still just as good as it was when I got first pair many years ago. It's still the reliable workhorse for getting easy miles, going to the gym, and needing some nice looking, comfortable casual wear. Balanced amount of cushioning, especially in this era of max cushion. The shoe can feel a little narrow if you have wide feet, so either consider going half a size up or getting the extra wide version. Highly recommend if you just need something to just run in without getting into the specifics.

Best Pegasus In YearsI recently purchased the Pegasus 41 after having worn several other versions of the shoe. It has always been one of my go-to running shoes but I haven't always loved the redesigns. This one is my favorite version in several years, with moderate cushion and good responsiveness. A tried and true option!

Good shoe, but not great at everythingI bought this shoe mostly to replace my old sneakers. Many of my old running shoes aren't able to retire to daily walking shoes because they're too tall or unstable for walking. But the Pegasus has been great for walking around. The midsole is soft and comfortable, and the stack height feels like a normal shoe. I've also done some base mile runs, and the while the Pegasus is fine for walking this is not my favorite trainer. If you're looking for one shoe that can do everything, this probably isn't it. The Pegasus has a lot of ground feel for a trainer, which I actually like. But I think I would be less fond of it on long runs late into a training block. And while the midsole is capable of uptempo paces, the shoe is not particularly responsive. I have read other reviews making the case that this shoe makes a lot of sense in an all Nike rotation, alongside something like the Vaporfly. But for logging a high volume of base miles it's hard to ignore the fact that there are better daily trainers available right now for running.

Nike Pegasus 41I am a 62 year old women that has been running for over 40 years. I run between 30-35 miles a week. I love the Nike Peagus 41. It is a lightweight shoe and has great support. I pronate and I use to wear more stable shoes but I always ended up with injuries. I usually have hip issues and have suffered with everything from piriformis syndrome to fractures in my left and right SI joint and even a sacroiliac joint fracture I am happy to report that since I have been running in the Nike Pegasus 41 I have not had an injury. I hope Nike never stops making them.

Nike Pegasus 41This is my third pair of this shoe. It’s light but is still really supportive. I usually run outside but have logged quite a bit of tread mileage with them. The color is so pretty too.

Start Of A New Life For NikeThis is a much improved shoe over the previous version with the new Nike React midsole, new upper material and better fit. I don't feel the midsole will bottom out, though it's early to say for sure. The upper is much softer. The fit is near perfect for my foot. Everyone will render their opinion, but at this point, this shoe is every bit as good if not better than the other brands at this price point.

Newer is not betterIt's a little concerning when it's 2024 and shoes are still this heavy. The forefoot had some cushion but it wouldn't last that long before it goes flat. The Pegasus hasn't been good since the 36 but Nike keeps churning out these duds.
