You don't have to be a pro runner to appreciate the benefits of the Saucony Kinvara Pro. This all-around running shoe brings the advantages of super shoes to every run, catering to runners of all levels. While maintaining the lightweight design of the Kinvara, the Kinvara Pro takes it a step further with superfoam and a ¾ carbon fiber plate in the midsole for enhanced responsiveness and efficiency. The midsole features a dual-cushioning system with over 40mm of heel stack, combining durable PWRRUN foam at the bottom and a thick layer of supremely lightweight and ultra-bouncy PWRRUN PB foam on top. Sandwiched in between these foams lies a ¾ length carbon-fiber plate with SPEEDROLL technology, facilitating improved efficiency and a smooth stride.
To ensure lightweight efficiency, the PWRRUN outsole is made of ground contact EVA with offers long-lasting traction while keeping things as light as possible. Rounding out the Kinvara Pro is the engineered mesh upper, which provides the familiar comfort of the Kinvara along with added elements like improved durability and soft padding in the heel collar, enhancing the running experience during longer efforts.

Responsive and cushionSwitched from Endorphin Speed. Well cushioned and very responsive shoes. More cushioned than Endorphin Speed, but more feel to roll. Some complain outsole durability but manufacturer says improved. Will find in few months.

NarrowEven with a 2E width, this shoe is extremely narrow and runs at least 1/2 size short. Painful to run in, wish I could get my money back for this shoe.
I am not sure why Saucony cannot make a shoe with a wide toebox.

Bounce And CushionThese are GREAT! I've been wearing Saucony for 12 years now and these are my fav shoe ever! Saucony nailed the perfect combination of plate/cushioning. They are soft but snappy with just the right size toe box. Good for speed or long miles. Cushioning is similar to the Triumph but better return because of the plate. In my opinion this is the perfect shoe.

Upper is lackingThis show is great is some areas, but pretty weak in others. The sole/plate/cushioning is very good. It's more fun to run in than a pair of Triumphs, but has similar cush under foot. The upper on the other hand is poor. Nothing really there to keep your foot in place other than just lacing them up really tight. I've run in probably 20 different Sauconys over the years and these are the only ones that bruise my toes repeatedly.

Kinvara ProI was looking for a shoe that I could run faster in and do some regular miles in too. The Kinvara has a nice responsive feel to it. Love the roll bar in the forefoot. Haven't had them long enough to give you a durability report, but my early thoughts on them are positive.

Fire trainerI’m a huge saucony believer but the kinvara pros out did themselves!!! Super responsive nice roll to them haven’t had a bad run since I’ve used them for speed and longer workout runs very universal if you wanted to daily train in them.

Great Long Run ShoeThis is definitely a chunky shoe, but the speedroll geometry propels you forward, making for a surprisingly fast ride. The upper is comfortable and the midsole is firm and stiff, which works for me. Training for my first marathon and this may be my race day shoe if it holds up--the exposed foam outsole is potentially a durability concern.

New favorite shoeI ran in these a couple years ago and I don’t know why I switched to other shoes. I was reminded how comfortable, supportive, and light weight they are. My legs are so happy.

They run smallGreat shoe. They seem to run a half size small. I've always been either 12.5 or 13 in every shoe I've ever purchased. Seems like my 13's are a half size too small for me. Perfect support in all the right places for my foot (which is slightly wide and medium flat). Great daily trainer for sure!
My dream shoe!Perfect shoe for me, super cushioned, but still springy. Light weight and very comfortable.
Very comfortableI have worn many pairs of the Endorphin Pro and the Kinvara Elite are just as good, but offer more cushion. Very comfortable and once you get used to the Speedroll feel you will find your cadence is a bit quicker. I figure these will be my shoes for ultras and daily runs. True to size. I don't have wide feet, but there's extra room in the forefoot that wider feet will like.
back in businesssince ever kinvara was my favorite shoes but somewhere after kinvara 7 they lost it. With the pro they re back in business and giving a fight to the sacouny own endorphin speed, the adidas takumi sens, etc...
Excellent shoeGreat shoe, great cushioning and a real stable shoe. I found the shoe great for my easy long runs of 8-10 miles. I do not believe the shoe is the best option for fast workouts.
I would recommend the shoe and hope Saucony keep with this model in the future.

Excellent all round trainerPlenty of space in toebox, unlike most Saucony shoes, upper also is flexible and stretchy enough to adapt to foot shapes and flex. It is friendly for mid or rearfoot strikes. A great replacement for the Shift, which is a great trainer but better for mid to forefoot striker like me. I did not have to upsize or get a wide (I am in between medium and wide fits). Needs a few break in runs and is a very stable neutral, with some spring from the plate and superfoam. If Saucony can lighten the shoe for v2, it will be excellent as it is a tad heavy When picking up the pace. Still, my smartwatch tells me i am running more efficiently than in the Shift.
Great shoeProbably the most surprising shoe this year, it really is comfort and has pop, the speed roll in this shoe is really noticeable. The upper is perfect though the tongue is a little short. The midsole is bottom heavy, I only feel the weight of it in later miles. I recommend this to all runner types.
Weirdly, love itConfess I bought this from RW with the expectation I’d give it a shot and return if it didn’t work. Seemed like a late night mash-up of all available shoe technologies sorted together by shoe design team. But, it works exceptionally well. Bouncy, resilient, light, well-cushioned, strangely flexible for such a high stack. Feels smooth and effortless thru range of paces. Typical Saucony fit, comfortable. Moved to top of shoe rotation. Fun shoe, highly recommended.
