About Mgankla Lodge

Situated in a safe and peaceful environment and only 50 minutes from Pretoria or 45 minutes from Sandton, Mgankla Lodge is a unique escape from busy life offering accommodation in two private camps both sharing the same property.

Mgankla Lodge offers great birding opportunities and the chance to see animals such as kudu, nyala, impala, warthog, eland, roan, duiker and a small family of giraffe.

Brits Accommodation

Nyala Camp:
This Camp has a self-catering family home with a fully equipped kitchen and lounge. The house has four bedrooms one with a double bed, one bedroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with a double and a three quarter bed.

There is also the Pool House which has four en-suite bedrooms, two bedrooms with two, three quarter beds and one single, one bedroom with a double and a three quarter bed, one bedroom with a double and a double bunk bed.

The Nyala Camp can sleep 22 guests in total. (Nyala Camp sleeps 22 guests in 8 bedrooms with 7 bathrooms)

Kudu Camp:
This family house sleeps twelve guests in four bedrooms. There is also an extra double bunk in one of the rooms and a sleeper couch in the lounge. All rooms share two bathrooms. Each bedroom has an aircon, fan and built in cupboards.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area with a TV and DStv.

Outside there are braai facilities, a swimming pool and boma.

The Nyala Camp can sleep 12 guests in total.

Impala Camp:
There are three Impala camps which each sleep 4. Each unit consists of a main bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom, an open plan lounge with fully equipped kitchen and two three quarter beds.

The Impala Camp units have a private porch with braai, air-con in the main bedroom, ceiling fans in the lounge and on the porch.

DStv is available at an additional cost, there is also shared use of a swimming pool and entertainment ares which provides an outdoor bar counter as well as a boma.

Mgankla Lodge offers activities such as game viewing, bird watching, fishing and mountain biking.
