As the days, weeks, and months go by and this year becomes busier with work, family, school, and home life, we can very easily lose sight of Jesus and forget who we are in Him. When onslaughts of stress, fatigue, and temptations come against us – the truth of who we are in Christ needs to be our anchor and ambition each day. A Godly ambition requires desires that are rightly related to God’s righteous ends in our life.
Spiritually alive by faith
This sermon is based on Ephesians 3:14-21. The apostle Paul’s ambition for the believers at Ephesus, especially the gentile believers, was for them to know their rightful place in the family of God and their inheritance that they have in Christ. In Chapter 1 and 2, Paul describes and reminds the believers of all the spiritual blessings that they have in Christ Jesus – that they are filled with the spirit of wisdom and revelation
