CSCP Recertification
Recertify every five years with 75 points. (15 points per year) Earning CSCP points
Continuing Education (CE) : One point per instructional hour (half-hour increments are accepted for .5 point) for attending any educational program or course that relates directly to supply chain management Presentations, Publications, and Educational Development (PPED): Two points per instructional hour (half-hour increments are accepted for 1 point) for conducting programs directly related to supply chain management Service to the Supply Chain Profession (SSCP): Points awarded for each year of service at various levels Professional Membership (PM): Six points per year as a qualifying member of APICS

CPSM Recertification
Recertify every three years with 60 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs). (20 CEH per year) At least two-thirds of the points must be educational in nature. One-third may be earned in the professional contributions category. Categories for earning CEHs are:

Lifetime Certification

APICS-certified professionals are eligible to become certified for life at age 62. No further reporting of continuing professional development activities for APICS CSCP certification maintenance is required.
CPSM
Lifetime status will not be offered for the CPSM. Since the profession is continuing to increase in complexity, continuing education will play a major role in making sure supply managers stay current on the latest supply management best practices.
