Basses for chords with a perfect fifth (including all major, minor, 7, maj7, and m7 chords): A = A, E Bb = Bb, F B = B, F# C = C, G C# = C#, G# D = D, A Eb = Eb, Bb E = E, B F = F, C F# = F#, C# G = G, D G# = G#, D#

For diminished chords/chords with a b5, lower the fifth a half-step. For augmented chords/chords with a #5, raise the fifth a half step
