Prepress manual:
- Acceptable file types for prepress are PDF, CDR, AI, EPS, TIF, JPEG-(maximum quality); - Only use TIF and JPEG type files if those dont contain any small objects (text), becouse those types of files use rasterized objects, which could cause in small objects appear blured; - Use CMYK color mode or GRAYSCALE (in monocolor); - Bitmaped images should be in optimal resolution (300 dpi); - Document size must be exactly the same as the product desired size; - If document have elements that overleaps documents trim size, include bleed in finalizing document. Bleed should be set symetricaly at 3 mm on all sides (5 mm for boxes or cardboard products), no crop, folding marks or crosses; - If using multi page documents, use single file, with all pages included, without ticking spread box; - When using CDR of AI files, convert all text to curves or outlines; - Avoid using lens or transparencies in Corel Draw, if possible; - When using black text, bar codes in black color, or any other elements that should be in black, be sure not to use any other color in those elements (not CMY, only black); - PDF files must be composite, not pre-separated; - Use Press Quality when printing, exporting, or destiling for PDF files; - When document has dye-cut, bu sure to provide it in file, using spot color in overprint; - Avoid using DCS EPS files. If spot color in bitmap file is needed, use TIF file. Other elements add additionaly in Adobe Illustrator or Indesign; - Please do all spellchecking and correcting text errors before sending prepress files. Otherwise, we wont be held accountable for any text errors on final product.
