A Romantic Drama with a Surreal twist.
Annie and Tom have just moved in together. Worrying about the seriousness of their relationship they each have a dream exploring their fears regarding the maturity of their relationship. What is expected of you, isnt always what is best.
Contrast the real world with what is seen in dreams.
Setting and visuals to express characters insecurities: Using a long shot to dwarf Annie in the dream kitchen setting. The dominating office setting in Toms dream.
Men and women 18-35.
Surrealist side would attract an audience which is inclined towards artistic/experimental film. The more human, relatable story and theme would mean it is still widely accessible. Social Networking -
Auditions to be held on the week of the 18th February.
Production date yet to be decided (4 days between 04th-15th March), based on actor and crew availability.
Projected edit deadlines.
Buffer days, just in case.
Props Charity shops, donations from ourselves and friends.
Catering Supermarket near main location. Equipment Camera, Lighting, Dolly, Sound. Crew.
Domestic Setting. Landlords allow filming, as long as house is returned to how it should be. Open plan kitchen/living area, allows for long shots while giving the illusion of a single room. Tennants permission. Office scenes.
Story is accessible to a wide audience
Simple locations which are easy to access and gain permissions for Schedule has buffers, just in case Looking forwards to collaborating and experimenting
Generic locations means finding back-ups will not be difficult.
Schedule has buffer days. House locations already being available means more time in post to sort important aspects of pre-productions i.e. finding actors.
