The forum will feature a guest speaker and facilitated group sessions on topics like effective School Councils, health and wellness, social media, and fundraising. The goal is to provide networking opportunities and support parental engagement in children's education. Childcare will be provided and all are welcome to attend the no-cost event.

    PIC Parent Forum: Creating Healthy Futures You are invited.

    The Upper Canada District School Board Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) recognizes the role that parents play in the development, well-being and education of their children. A parent that is engaged in their childs education is essential to the success and health of our schools. Our PIC would like to create opportunities for School Council members to network, share ideas and offer input. PIC will make parental engagement a priority by providing ongoing support, promoting communication and dialogue between School Councils, the School Board and community members. PIC would like to invite all School Council Chairs, members, interested parents, and school administration to join us for our first Creating Healthy Futures function.
