When physical interventions do need to take place, our practical scenario based training draws upon years of experience to role play real life situations and examples with delegates. What sets our training apart?
Unlike other training we dont just focus on the physical interventions in isolation. Our approach is based on giving delegates a greater awareness of the triggers that lead to challenging behaviour, how to approach risk assessing situations and putting care plans in place to allow for the earliest possible non-physical interventions to take place.
We specialise in training that gives staff confidence when working with patients who may be challenging or aggressive and where physical interventions may be needed to deliver care.
My best way of learning is hands on so because the course was so practical I really enjoyed it and I think I will feel more confident now when Im helping clients. - Ann, Care Assistant
The trainer was very knowledgeable and the way it was explained about how people with dementia see the world really got me thinking about how I will now approach clients. Geoff, Care Assistant
