    What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

    IPC Media has three publishing divisions. IPC Inspire, IPC connect and IPC Southbank. IPC Connect include women magazines such as Now, Chat and Woman. They also include whats on TV and TV Times. This is a British publishing. IPC Inspire- leisure brands ad also lifestyle brands such as Country Life, Rugby World and NME They have fashion magazines such as Marie Claire and InStyle.

    Bauer Media Group is a private publishing group. The headquarters is in Hamburg, Germany. The areas where they have their publishing products are in Europe, USA, China and Russia (16 countries worldwide). The type of magazines they are publish are women weeklies, food, special interest, puzzles, TV listings, women interest and music. They are one of most successful companies in the world. They have more than 570 magazines, over 300 digital products and 50 radio and TV stations and reach millions of people all across the world.

    I think the best publishing company for me is Bauer Media Group because it is a bigger publishing company than IPC but also because they include a lot more such as Radio and TV which means there would be more advertising because I wanted to use different media styles for my music magazine. I also believe that my magazine would be distributed by Bauer Media Group because it is international so I can distribute all over the world and also they distribute magazines such as Q and Kerrang magazine that are also very different kind of magazines and my magazine would include a lot of international artists because the genre of my music is made everywhere as there are loads of unsigned artists that are around and this publishing company would be a good choice and would be able to be included with radio and internet as my audience is for people aged between 16-25 so the marketing in this company is more beneficial for my magazine.
