Fabian Course: 4th Grade Unit Title: Fitness and Health Lesson Plan Title: Creative Writing Objectives: Students will be using writing skills and creative work to complete project. How will students demonstrate their understanding? Students will show their creativeness in their writing as well as on their poster, through listening to the speaker. They will use knowledge they learned and apply it to their poster. Collaborations with others

Intro to Assignments/Projects, Informing Students about speaker Give Pre Assignment- Students will be given a prompt to write in writing journals Prompt: What is health and fitness? How do you use it in your everyday life?

Give Post Assignments- Students will be given four different prompts to choose. They will write their interest based on prompt in their writing journals, and eventually type up. Students will then work in groups and make a poster

A. Write an essay of approximately 150-200 words. Use the following prompts: To, me staying fit means. I think it is important to be fit because Some of the things that I can do to stay fit are I will encourage my family and friends to get or stay fit by. B. With your group make a poster that will promote/advertise health and fitness. It will be posted outside the classroom.

Homework Activity: If students dont have enough time to complete writing assignment, it will be assigned homework, this is due the 24th of March
