Prospect Oxazepam

Oxazepam is an anxiolytic benzodiazepine medication used to treat anxiety, tension, agitation, irritability, insomnia, and symptoms of alcohol withdrawal. PROSPECT OXAZEPAM

Denumirea comerciala OXAZEPAM Substanta activa : OXAZEPAMUM Prezentare farmaceutica : comprimate continand oxazepam 10 mg (flac.cu 20 buc) Actiune : anxiolitic benzodiazepinic antoconvulsivante si miorelaxante Indicatii: Stari de anxietate, tensiune, agitatie, iritabilitate, insomnia de natura nevrotica, psihovegetativa, psihosomatica, associate depresiei, la batrani , in cadrul sindromului de abstinenta al alcoolicilor; este bine suportat de batrani si hepatici. Contraindicatii : Alergie la exazepam si alte benzodiazepine, copii sub 6 ani, stari comatoase, colaps, insuficienta pulmonara acuta, deprimare respiratoreie, miastenie grava; prudent la soferi si la cei cu alte profesiuni care solicita in mod deosebit atentia ; se vor evita bauturile alcoolice, prudent la asocierea altor deprimante central (potentare). Administrare : Oral : adult : anxietate 2-6 comprimate /zi (20-60 mg), 1 dimineata, la pranz si 2 seara ; sevraj alcoholic 15-30 mg/ zi de zi. Varstnici : 1-3 comprimate/ zi. Copii peste 6 ani, insuficienta renala : jumatate din doza adultului. Durata tratamentului este in medie de 4-12 saptamani; intreruperea tratamentului se va face lent. Precautii : Se vor evita bauturile alcoolice; tranchilizantele benzodiazepinice pot induce dependenta, la pacientii depresati creste riscul de suicid si de amnezie anterograda. cu efecte sedative, hipnotice,

Reactii adverse : Somnolenta, anorexie, diminuarea libidoului, tulburari de menstruatie; rareori ameteli, cefalee, hipotensiune (mai frecvent la batrani), oboseala, stari de agitatie (la unii bolnavi psihotici), tulburari neurologice, greata, edeme, eruptii cutanate alergice leucopenia, disfunctie hepatica,; tratamentul indelungat cu doze mari poate determina dependenta.
