Students will be creating all di!!erent types o! visuals to teach the class about their country"
you can give a list o! good websites4 and give ideas about what students can make but this
activity is very open ended in what the students can research and make about their country"

Start the class by asking why people would want to leave their home country4 to make sure students

to try to !igure out where all these people came !rom" /emember yesterday when we wrote stories about
why we wanted to leave our home country: #ell today we are going to travel to these countries and
really get to know them")

ancestry 'have them pick one i! they have multiple*" /esearch the !oods they ate4 clothing they wore4
holidays they celebrated4 !amous paintings and musicians they had4 mode o! transportation"
(t the end o! class we are going to be presenting and teaching the rest o! the class about the country you
researched" To help with your presentations4 you should make a sign where you write the country you are
researching and also use all the supplies provided to make visuals to show the class" ;raw !ood4 a !amous
painting4 a !amous landmark in the country4 make clothing4 people4 houses !rom the country4 whatever is
needed to help teach and show the class")
Give the students between 13 min , . hour and 13 min to do research and make visuals" Give each group
