    The use of complex numbers does introduce more complexity:


    - We are often interested in the phase difference of V and I: translate to the phase of the
    impedance.
    - Sometimes current may not produce any power (for L & C)
    - Sometimes a division voltage/current can be larger than the original voltage/current
    - That is why utility would like to see loads that are close to resistive: they are more normal :-)
