    C Major Scales in all Positions

    1. Make sure the patterns are the same going up and down. Fingerings which are not indicated are the same as before.
    2. Strings changes are notated in circles. Stay on the current string until the next string is notated.
    3. Memorize where all the "Roots" of the scale are - in this case all the C's in each position.
    4. All of these scales/ngerings are transposable except for Open Position.
    5. Experiment with playing these patterns in other keys.
    6. Pay close attention to the notes you are playing once you have memorized the ngerings.
