Possession

This document provides information about a possession game that can be played by students in grades 3-6. The game involves dividing students into teams of three who pass a ball around in a triangle formation. In the next layer, teams face off against each other in a 3 vs 3 scenario where the offensive team tries to make 5 consecutive passes without the defense intercepting or causing a drop. The game focuses on locomotor skills, communication, teamwork and defense while allowing for modifications to the space, number of passes, and dribbling rules based on ability level. Safety is ensured through a no contact "warm defense" approach.
