PET CAPTURE GUIDE

found the original lame guide here: http://www.fxp.co.il/showthread.php?

t=4964285
translated and changed it a little, the thing was outdated, but credits for
pics to them.
intro
first you must be lvl 60+
2nd you must have 2000 spirit to use the capture skill ( can use clan skill
for help)
the skill
* click R to get to the skills menu
* click on the "Others" tab
* click on the "Life" tab
* on the left side add the points to the capture skill, and drag it to the
hotkey bar now its ready to use
* the skill gets proficiency after successful captures, and u you can
upgrade it after awhile
* skill has 10 min colldown (pretty long)
* skill works ONLY if pet is below 50%hp
the nets
* the capture skill requires a net to work
* you can buy capturing nets from pet tamer totto in sunstream
* nets cost 5g each
* capturing fails a lot so you should buy at least 5 nets for a hunting
session
the pets
the ONLY capturable pets in JD are: Chubby Baby, Underworld Judge, Little
Deer,
Night Owl, Firerock Demon.
NOTE: if you can't find the pet at the stated below location, means that it
has been killed/captured less then 6h ago, and has yet to respawn.
in that case, you can either wait 6h for its respawn, or rhop to another
realm.
LITTLE DEER [recommended lvl to capture: 105+]

he is found in southern boarder behind the portal to inc Vally, he cannot be

reached anymore as there is an invisible wall behind that area
but long time a go it was reachable, and people kept portal charms leading
to it, you might find some in tr.

UNDERWORLD JUDGE [recommended lvl to capture 135+]

this fella is found in Shura at the center of the Djin palace, right were lord
earth force spawns.
CHUBBY BABY [recommended lvl to capture: 120+]

this fella is found in Kunlun, on top of the frozen lake

FIREROCK DEMON [recommended lvl to capture: 90+]

this little fella likes to walk around in incense Vally

heres the map of his route: (he goes in a clockwise direction)

NIGHT OWL [recommended lvl to capture: 75+]

this fella flies all around the wildlands map

the main problem with it being it flying TOO HIGH for non ranged chars to
hit and to get down
the owl will normally fly too high for ranged chars to hit as well, but he has
a few spots in which he flies lower.
heres the map of his route, the black circle means the spot where he flies
low enough to hit with a ranged skill. (it flies around counter clockwise)

Arden PVP Now let's get to the pvp situation's vs other classes.

Jadeon:

Tbh with jadeon i dont find it much of a threat unless it's not vs a felkin jadeon, MS2
got a long ass range wich is most likely going to 1hit you, if he used DF then you are
dead for sure. Always versus jadeon you don't have to elt them get close to you for
no any fken reason or you going to get MS'ed. When they use DF(Deep Freeze) try
removing it asap because you can either expect for a obscura incoming at you or if
they get lucky some double crit from 7 disasters.

Vim:

Though work vs vims, always try and sp drain them if you have a soul scepter or
sinister orb, watch out of their PL and never chage/Spurt vs them, these fkers
always get lucky and paralyze you mid air, try stay as much as possible in fox form
and summon tigers to make him waste his raja's/debuff removals and then when
you get the chance BA2 him.

Lupin:

2nd hardest class for me to go against but also exciting to play vs, you always need
to stay out of his way and know his buffs, as always use tigers wisely when he got
AP up, this way he will again use his debuff reomvals/suits and BoS if hes so
desperateand watch out of his DoR since most lupins are dagos most of times stay
in fox form. They usually buff up and get right at you, so when you see them buffing
up just run around till their buffs are gone and then WFA2+BA2+FS2 or tigers bleed
and BA2.

Skysong:

Hurr Durr. This is balls to go against, once they got you sleeped you will have to sit
there till they have their one shot skill ready to hit. If they wake you up use any raja
suit skill or Trisigh and try get away and always distract them with your tigers or
foxes. Watch out not to FS2 into their invincibility, you might aswell try the trick i
explained above, using normal FS so they can waste their Invincibility skills.

Modo:

in all honesty i don't find it hard to go against them, ofc vs a good experienced
modo it's going to be though, but always dragon stun them so you can remove
some of their buff and also sp drain them, this way their Nimble spirit wont be so
usefull + if you are against a dagos modo he wont be able to spam kangba on you.
Watch out for fuwa modo's and their RoT sometimes i dont see it when they cast it
in modon form and i screw up myself lol. Felkin it's probably one of the easiest to go
against as an arden, we can remove their debuff with Spirit Sediment/ suit skills/
and asc skills.

Incense Mage.

Well. once you got chained you are pretty much F****ed. using tigers to distract
them is a good solution, once they wake you up from chains try trisigh or either Lost
Soul them this way you can escape unless they didnt trap you aswell xD. only hint i
can give you going vs IM is to NEVER GET TOO CLOSE TO THEM. Run like one mfker
around and send tigers on him, once you get the oportunity fs2 him.

Balo

This is the number 1 class that im having the most difficult time vs. Due to their AS
and AS2 it's a pain to do soemthing to them and as always they have Iron Guts on,
wich i can barely do some dmg to them. if theyr chroma isn't too high then you can
get them once their both AS are on cd but that means 10-20 seconds to act fast and
do your move, but once they get higher chroma you basically need some lucky hits
to get them down but that'd be hard too, since if they dont have AS up they would
just spam suit skills wich again fucks up your combos. Since most of them are felkin,
use Wolf Fang 2 to reduce their resistance so they wont be able to Slaughter 2 you.

Arden

here it's all about who lands the first crit. Most of ardens i've pvped in the private
servers always went vs me with FS2 and then wait for the cd to get off wich sucks
imo, even EL+ CD2 and tiger bleed right on time kills another arden if it get1 crit or
2 so don't bother just with FS2 there are plenty of ways to kill another arden. Can't
tell much about Dagos and fuwa ardens, didnt pvp'ed them much even thought i
know about their skills and such. ill update more once i get to pvp some of them.

Rayan

Oooooh rayan. Playing vs them is lovely lol, appart from their constant hidin or
ultima we ardens got the most chances to get down a rayan. Go full crit shield when
you pvp a rayan, if they are dagos (wich 99% of them are) they usually tend to
Flash Reel and Bink Move (wich gives insta crit) and Celestial Slay. Always have your
summons up and when you have the chance send them to atack him, this way even
if hes invisible you can track him down and know his positin, if your summon gets
near you, then it's time to run your ass off cuz that means the rayan is next to you.
Plants also got a important role vs rayans, happened to me allot of times when a
rayan wanted to CS me while inivible but they couldnt because sleep/sil plant was
next to me. watch out of the asc bleeds try removes them asa with Spirit Sediment
and also watch out of their DoR as always most of times stay in Fox form. versus
fuwa rayans it's hard beans, they will usually put your running skill in cd, so running
around won't be easy, you need to watch out of their ultima and keep tiger
summoned and send them at him, you may also try and take out his ultima but it's
going to be a tough job (even tho for me worked sometimes) in order to cancel his
substitute + empathy.

Forta:
These guys hit hard, as always most of times stand in fox form to dont get
paralyzed by sweep or silence + slow from DoR, Silence them whenever they get
close to you and they dont have raja on, once you know he already used his raja
EL+fs2 him. Most of forta's i pvp'ed were dagos, so i cant tell much about the other
2 affinity

Celan
Flerp Flerps, easy versus them, most of times they will have MiM on so just send
tigers/foxes at them in order to use the heal to remove bleed. even tho, never
understimate a celan, if he sp drains you try remove it with SD or any other suit skill
and get away from him. Dagos will put a bleed on you, remove it or the last tick will
most likely kill you. Fuwa's mostly have MiM on as always fuck them up with Tigers
lol and once MiM is off snipe them with fs2

The six Ascension Accessory sets are some of the most powerful accessories in the game, with huge
stat bonuses and powerful set skills.

Getting them, though, is a long trek through crafting and upgrades, and it can be easy to lose your
way. This guide will walk through how to get the fully-upgraded versions and break down the strengths
of each set.

There are six sets of Ascension Accessories, each with their own rings; there are two necklaces for
these six sets, each attached to three of these sets.

There are six rings that can be upgraded into Ascension Accessories: Ring of Ultimate Heaven, Grace
of Heaven, Insight of Heaven, Might of Heaven, Ring of Eloquence, and Eminence of Heaven. The two
necklaces that can be upgraded into Ascension Accessories are the Blessed Earth and the Might of
Earth.

For instance, a Goko set will ultimately include two upgraded Rings of Eloquence and an upgraded
Blessed Earth necklace. Since its a Blessed Earth set, its oriented towards defense: the Blessed Earth
gives several defensive buffs, and the Rings of Eloquence will give Damage Reduction bonuses.

The Blessed Earth and Might of Earth necklaces are pretty good right out of the gate, but to get real
use out of the set, youll need to upgrade all three accessories. Expect the upgrading process to take a
while.

You can also bypass all of these steps with the Gold Rabbit Pack Coupon. With it, you can instantly get
one of the fully-upgraded accessories from Sunstream Citys Award Manager. Its currently available as
part of our Jaden Rewards Program.

The upgrading tree for rings, from the basics to the best.

Upgrading the basic rings and necklaces up to will only require gold. Go to Guardian Tyr in
Jadeon (138, 114); if youve got a ring or a necklace of two stars or less, hell offer a quest to try to
upgrade it. If you dont succeed, the accessory isnt consumed, so you can try again.

The upgrade tree for necklaces.

Its much more expensive to try to upgrade necklaces, and while they start off with good stats, they
dont ramp up very quickly. You may want to start by channeling gold into upgrading the rings before
turning to the necklace.

Reaching the next stage, giving your three-starred accessories an essence, is a different process.
Instead of quests, it requires crafting so the upgrade is guaranteed instead of by chance but its
difficult to get the recipes for this. Your primary sources for them are Essence Tomes and Affinity Bead
Recipe Packs, but occasionally you can get them from Fort Cloudstorm. Youll need 5 Essence Rocks (25
for the necklaces) to craft the upgrade. You can occasionally also get them from Fort Cloudstorm.

At the time of writing, you can get Essence Tomes from the Diablo Lantern mystery box. The Essence
Tome gives you one random recipe for upgrading a accessory to Essence-level. You can also get
the base-level Might of Earth and Earth Blessing necklaces from this.

Alternatively, you can get all of the recipes at once from the Affinity Bead Recipe Pack, available from
the JD Mart auction.

The fully-upgraded Ascension Accessories all six sets.

The final step in upgrading these accessories, and the one that actually attaches the accessory to one
of the six deities, happens in the Ancient Land.

Both Athan and Human characters will need to talk with Wanyoo, who hovers in the air near Welkin
Cottage (45, -140). He offers quests to try to upgrade your Essence rings, each costing one Will item
from one of the six deities: Xato Will, Dijo Will, etc. It costs two Wills to try to upgrade your Essence
necklaces.

Youll have the option of upgrading rings to either Charm or Jade rings. They do have very different
stats, but there isnt a constant rule of whether Charms or Jades are better. Youll need one of each,
plus the necklace, to complete the set.

Each time you try to upgrade your necklace or rings in this way, youll be spending 800 Gold. Youll
also be consuming the Will items that you used; you can get more from the Jade Exchange Maiden for
60 Sunny Jades.

Alternatively, you can get Wills from the Star Souls that spawn in the Ancient Land in Welkin Cottage.
Whenever a LV135 Strike Order in the Ancient Land is completed, theres a chance that Star Souls will
appear: harvest them for a number of items relating to Ascension Accessories, including Essence
Rocks, the Wills, and the recipes for Essence-level necklaces.

This final upgrade tier is when each sets specialty is fully brought out. The Yin Yang chart at the
beginning of this guide outlines the specialties, but check below for a list of the stat bumps from
equipping both rings and the necklace to complete the set.

If you collect two pieces of a deitys set, youll unlock a set bonus to one stat; if you get both rings and
the matching necklace, youll have access to the set skill. These skills give gigantic buffs to one of your

from various quests in the Ancient Land, or by giving Sunny Jades to the Jade Exchange Maiden.

High-level recipes require high Tech Stats and Development.
All level 60+ pets will automatically add their Aptitudes to the Workshop's
Tech Stats (Level 60+ pets are marked on the Pet Roster with a (*) in front of
their name). Tech Stats can be further increased by setting pets to Crafting
Classes. Having multiple types of high-level pets is very important for crafting
high-level items.
Workshop Development increases as you craft items in the Pet Workshop

Material gathering by your pet is called Foraging. There are six

different types of Foraging:

Farming:
collect plant and herb items

Woodwork:
collect wood items

Hunting:
collect animal items

Fishing:
collect fish items

Mining:
collect mining items

Treasure:
collect treasure items

To Forage, a pet will need to be at least level 30. To set your pet to
forage, select the first button on the right in the pet menu (access by
pressing p). The default setting will be set to
combat,
however, simply click this button to open up the menu and change to the
appropriate task for your pet. A pets Foraging ability will
also
depend on its levelthe higher leveled a pet, the better
level
materials it can collect for you.

The
pet level to material level is:

A level 30-70
pet will gather level 1 materials

A level 71-100
will gather level 2 materials

A level 101-120
will gather level 3 materials

A level 121-135
will gather level 4 materials

A level 136-145
will gather level 5 materials

A level 146-150
will gather level 6 materials

Each pet will have a different adeptness for a certain type of

crafting. This is represented by agreen bar within a pets
craft
status. A pet with a Woodworking score of 15/100 will have a
more
successful Foraging attempt for a wood item than a Fishing score of
1/100 for a fishing item. Once you have acquired multiple pets, you
will be able to send the most adept for each Foraging job. When your
pet is set to Foraging, he will not be summoned and accompanying

youyou cannot have a pet both Forage and aid you in combat
at
the same time.
Once your pet has collected the materials you desire, you can have your
pet craft for you. This is accessible from the Workshop button in the
pet menu. Your pet must be level 60 to craft. For a Pet to craft items
it will require the recipe of that itema pet cannot use a
player
recipe. Most of the pet crafting recipes are gear or consumables.

As a pet grows, their classes can be upgraded for combat and crafting.
All pets default onto the first combat class, Brute. Selecting and
upgrading a pets class will give the pet extra bonuses. Any
pet
class can be upgraded with civility points, which is gained by treating
your pet wellkeeping his belly and health bar full.

For
combat pets, the classes are:

Brute:
Attack Power and Health increases by 1%. Requirements: pet at level 10,
Civility at 1.

Raider:
Attack Power and Health
increases by 3%. Requirements: pet at level 30, Civility at 18,000. A
maximum of 16 pets can have this class at a time.

Sentinel:
Attack Power and
Health increases by 5%. Requirements: pet at level 60, Civility at
144,000. A maximum of eight pets can have this class at a time.

Health increase by 11%. All pets resistances increase by 20.
Requirements: pet at level 150, Civility at 2,304,000. Only one pet may

For
crafting pets, the classes are:

Trainee: All

As your character levels and you gain more and more pets, there will be
no shortage of things for them to do. From an army of warriors to an
army of crafters, pets are a valuable resource to take advantage of.

Pet Gear
There are 12 total types of Pet Gear, but only 8 can be affecting your pet at one
time. This is because some of the types of Pet Gear are limited to certain Star
Signs or Types. Depending on its Star Sign and Type, a Pet can have either Armor
or Vest, either Gem or Sutra, either Relic or Dream, and either Legacy or Mystery, in
addition to Claw, Mask, Aura, and Pendant.
Seven of these Pet Gear slots can be upgraded using certain Pet Workshop
recipes in combination with Star Sign-specific Stardust or Crystals to have higher
attributes but be restricted to a certain Star Sign. Each Star Sign has one Pet Gear
slot, but some Pet Gear slots have more than one Star Sign.
The links below will lead to the pages containing recipes for the linked gear slot.

Claw: All Star Signs/Types. Upgrades to Terro.

Mask: All Star Signs/Types. Upgrades to Solaris.

Aura: All Star Signs/Types. Upgrades to Auris or Flowen.

Pendant: All Star Signs/Types.

Armor: Restricted to Solaris, Luna, Auris, and Terro. Upgrades to Luna.

Vest: Restricted to Arborik, Flowen, Magmas, Nestun, and Logi. Upgrades to
Arborik.
Gem: Restricted to Solaris, Luna, Auris, Terro, and Logi. Upgrades to Logi.
Sutra: Restricted to Arborik, Flowen, Magmas, and Nestun. Upgrades to
Magmas or Nestun.

Relic: Includes separate items for Beast, Demon, Elemental, Immortal,

For example, a Woody Pig (which is a Beast type) that has an Arborik Star Sign can
equip Claw, Mask, Aura, Pendant, Vest, Sutra, Relic, and Mystery Pet Gear.

Low-level Pet Gear for Claw, Mask, Aura, Pendant, Armor, Vest, Gem, and Sutra
slots can be purchased from Pet Tamer Totto.
Pet Gear for Relic, Dream, Legacy, and Mystery slots can only be obtained through
the Pet Workshop.

Fortify Pet Gear

All crafted Pet Gear has three ranks.
Basic: Requires Grade 4
+1: Requires Grade 8
+2: Requires Grade 12
While it is possible to craft +1 and +2 gear in the Pet Workshop, the main way of
upgrading your gear is by taking it to a Pet Master and selecting the "Fortify Gear"
option.
Two items are used with this option:
Jadefog Stone: Upgrades Basic Pet Gear to +1 Pet Gear.
Bluemoon Stone: Upgrades +1 Pet Gear to +2 Pet Gear.
These items can be randomly found by Pets when they are Foraging for materials.
Attempting to upgrade your gear in this way will not destroy the gear if it fails, so
don't worry about losing a really good piece of Pet Gear! If your Pet's Grade is high
enough, it should always be using Fortified gear.

Pet Gear Claw

<-- Return to Pet Workshop
Items for the Claw slot can be equipped by all pet Star Signs and Types. These
items can be upgraded to have higher stats using Terro Stardust (for Grade 4 items)
or Terro Crystals (for Grade 8 and 12 items), but will become restricted to pets with
the Terro Star Sign. Recipes for Claw items can be obtained by having a pet Forage
using their Farming Aptitude.
Most items required to craft Pet Gear in the Workshop can be obtained through pet
Foraging. The final item listed for each recipe (Boar Bristles, Chicken Tail, etc.) can
be purchased from Pet Tamer Totto.
Each of the listed basic recipes has a small chance to result in a +1 or +2 item
instead, which has higher stats but requires a higher Grade to equip. The base item

requires Grade 4, the +1 item requires Grade 8, and the +2 item requires Grade 12.
The base or +1 item can also be upgraded at a later date using the Fortify Pet Gear
system.
The attributes of a piece of pet gear are randomly determined within the range
provided. Gear stat listing is still in progress.

Pet Gear Dream

<-- Return to Pet Workshop
Items for the Dream slot can be equipped by pets of all Star Signs, as long as they
are one of the following Types: Aquatic, Avian, Celestial, Delusion, Fairy, Ghost,
Humanoid, or Nature. Each item is restricted to one of these Types. These items

cannot be upgraded to be restricted to a certain Star Sign. Recipes for Dream items
can be obtained by having a pet Forage using their Hunting Aptitude.
