Hello Im here to interview Rose Yagmur lead singer and bass player
of local band Area 52 here to talk about her journey to get to
where she is now.
1. So rose, how did you first start your journey in music? What
was the stepping stone that got the ball rolling?

musical differences or any setbacks that could have brought an
early end to Area?

5. From being used to playing small venues and such, what was it
like to be playing reading and Leeds festival? Was the crowd
responsive and was the radio coverage good?

KELERA: So that was how Area 52 came into the spotlight, but what
about the business side of things?
-We go to Jake Clark whos currently with John Clark. John Clark is
an owner of a record label, who deals with the management of bands
today. He also has the experience of being in a successful band
throughout the 90s.

Youre current role in the music industry resides at Copro records
but lets talk firstly about the early days of you being in
Gomorrah. What was your initial goal for the band? Was is that you
wanted to be famous and make money or was it just for fun.
its the late 80s early 90s, the decline of 80s rock and metal
music turned to grunge however the metal bands of the time served as
larger than life icons with the likes of Motley Crue, Metallica and
Guns n Roses What opportunities were available for a small
thrash/death metal band at this point?
Were you aware of the opportunities for bands at the time and what
steps did you take to get to where you were?
Now in the mind of the businessman in you how does Copro records
operate, what steps are taken and what is offered to a band?
Copro is known for its work with acts such as Earthtone9, Panic Cell
and of course Forever Never what made your time with these bands
successful? Was is hard work or right place right time? Or maybe a
bit of both?
