HAZARD HUNT

In an effort to reinforce the learning from the February Safety Training, Hazard Recognition a
new challenge is being presented to the Jacksonville Plant.

RULES
5 HAZARDS IDENTIFIED PER EMPLOYEE These can be duplicates, i.e. two or more
employees may submit the same identical hazard. Hazards can be submitted individually (one at
a time), all 5 can be submitted at once or any number can be submitted together. The
requirement is 5 per employee; more than 5 can be submitted, but the minimum is 5 each.
100 TOTAL HAZARDS FOR PLANT These cannot be duplicates; they must be 100 unique
hazards. Consider this requirement when submitting the hazards you find. Try to look for
hazards that may have otherwise been overlooked.
Each employee will need to submit the hazards with their name included. The PASS cards can
be used for submittal, but is not required. Be as specific as possible, i.e. instead of hose lying at
bottom of stairs, use loading hose lying at the bottom of the base resin east stairs. As part of this
identification, if immediate correction can be implemented and the hazard eliminated/corrected
this must be part of the submittal. For example, a hose lying on the ground at the bottom of the
steps is the identified hazard; the correction would be to move the hose to the proper storage
location. If the identified hazard cannot be immediately corrected, a recommendation for
correction will be required.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

When we meet these goals we will have a pizza celebration!
