Business Sow Proper
2.Subject: Business
Students who may be involved with a family business, whose parents are self-employed, who have a part
time job or who may be heavily involved with their local sports club may be familiar with certain aspects of
economics and enterprise but may fully not understand what they mean. In terms of academia, students
should also have prior knowledge on chapters 1-17 in the textbook Business for Households and
Enterprises as they were the chapters that they completed in first year. Students may also have an
informal knowledge on the topic presented in these sections (2 & 3). This informal knowledge may come
from family, friends, experiences, interests, literature, media and very external sources involved in their
everyday lives. I acknowledge that each student will possess their own abilities and learning capacities
therefore I plan to differentiate my lessons to accommodate their individual needs e.g. by adding larger
text to PowerPoint presentations and creating stimulating activities for advanced learners.
