Agenda, Expectations, and Questionnaire

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum


Agenda
7:00 Bus will be departing from school to Washington D.C (You will be allowed to eat on
the bus)
10:00-10:20: Rest stop
12:00: Arrive to Washington D.C
12:15-12:30: Welcome! A guide will provide a brief explanation of what we can expect
once we enter the different exhibits
12:30-1:00: Short film on the different stages of the holocaust
1:00-2:00: In small groups students will be able to explore the permanent exhibit in the
museum. There are 4 chaperones so there will be four groups. Students must complete
questionnaire as they are exploring museum.
2:00-2:30: Lunch
2:30-3:00: Class discussion on the different exhibits
3:00-3:15 Gift shop
3:15: Meet by restrooms for head count
3:15- 3:45: Explore Daniels Story exhibit in one large group
3:45-4:00: Discuss Daniels Story as a large group
4:00: Report back to bus.
4:10: Depart Washington D.C.
7:00: Rest Stop
9:00 pm Dismissed in front of the school
