processes of ideal gas

1- Constant Volume Process: v = const
2- Constant Pressure Process: p = const
3- Constant Temperature Process
(Isothermal): pv = const
4- Adiabatic Process: pvk = const
5- Polytropic Process: pvn = const

ATTENTION
For ideal (perfect) gases:
u = cv. T
h = cp. T
cp cv = R
This tells us that the difference between the
constant-pressure and constant-volume specific
heats of an ideal gas is always constant, though
both are functions of temperature.

Entropy

change
s = cv.ln(T2/T1)+R.ln(v2/v1)

Heat

Transfer
Q = G.cv.[(n-k)/(n-1)].T

Work

Transfer
W= (p2V2-p1V1)/(1-n)
