Letter of Indemnity

I/We have not in any manner whatsoever dealt with the Demand Draft/Managers
Cheque and to the best of my/our knowledge and belief the same has not been
endorsed or delivered.

At my/our request and my/our agreeing to indemnify you in the following manner you
have agreed to -
• issue/issued a duplicate Demand Draft/Managers Cheque.
• credit my/our account with you,

in lieu of the above mentioned lost Demand Draft/Managers Cheque.

Now in consideration of your issuing/having agreed to issue a duplicate Demand


Draft/Managers Cheque or credit my/our account with you as aforesaid, I/We, the
undersigned hereby agree to indemnify and save you harmless at any/all times from
all damages, losses, costs, expenses and all other sums of money, which you may be
required to pay, suffer or incur and also against all demands, actions, proceedings that
may be made, filed, taken or instituted against you by reason of presentation,
production or payment of said original instrument be endorsed as aforesaid by you. In
this connection, I/We recognise that if said original Demand Draft/Managers Cheque
be endorsed and in the hands of a holder for value, you may be compelled to pay the
same.

I/We also agree and confirm to deliver the said original Demand Draft to you for
cancellation and destruction if the same shall be found or traced at any time.
