Learning Portfolio
Your Learning Portfolio (or E-Portfolio) task has been designed as an aid, to help
you capture the maximum benefit from your study of 186.764 ‘Foundations of E-
Learning’.
It is a digital personal space in which you capture your thoughts, your feelings and
the lessons that you learn as they occur. It will then become a reference work to
which you can return and refresh yourself at any time in the future. Remember that
as an adult learner, you are the only person who can take responsibility for your
learning and development.
The portfolio assignment will contribute 40 % to the overall course mark and is due
for marking by the tutor on or before Oct 15 2010. However, it is essential that you
will develop a discipline of filling in the various parts of your portfolio and not lose the
lessons that you learn. Therefore, the assignment is divided into 3 tasks as follows:
On completion of each of the four modules of this paper, take some time to address

total):
1. What is the most important thing that I have learnt about the topic of each
module of study and the process of coming to know about it? In other words,
what did I learn, and how did I learn it?
2. How can I use the new learning from this module to improve my future
practice?

The second task will be a written Critical Appraisal addressing the following
