    How to take notes online with Zoho Notebook

    Zoho Notebook is an online application for taking notes and makes your saved information
    available anywhere you are. It has a very impressive user interface with easy to use features and
    functions. The interface itself is so simple; you can start working on it as soon as you sign up or
    sign in. It allows you to sign in with Gmail, Google Apps, Yahoo!, and Facebook accounts; or
    you can sign up for a Zoho Notebook account.

    Zoho’s prominent features are adding audios, videos, HTML codes, URLs, integrations with its
    own applications such as Zoho Writer and many more. Following is a list of some,

     Add images, text, RSS feeds, and more


     Upload files from your computer
     Share notes with Zoho Show, Zoho Sheet, Zoho Writer
     Use free hand tool to write, draw shapes, and lines
     One click switch to other Zoho applications
     Import notes from Google Notebook
     Chrome and Firefox plug ins available for use
     Add content form the web with one click of Zoho button installed on your tool bar

    Add Text from Web

    1. You are navigating on a website and you want to save a paragraph or few sentences to
    your notebook.
    2. Select them with your mouse/cursor and click the Zoho button
    3. A drop down menu will appear
    4. Select the Clip Selected Text
    5. A new window will open
    6. Select the page you want to save the text in
    7. Click Save
    8. It will give you a link for your clipped text
    9. Click on it and it will direct you to the Zoho notebook’s page where you saved it

    Add Images from Web

    1. You have found an image, or you have an image you want to save in your notes
    2. Right-click and copy it’s link
    3. Go to your Zoho notebook page
    4. Click on Add Image
    5. A new window will open. The default tab is From URL
    6. Paste the URL in the text box and click Insert
    7. The image is inserted and saved in your book

    Add Audio and Video

    These features use your webcam and audio system. You can upload, take from a website like the
    images, but you can also record your own audio and video. This is very likely when you are
    video blogging or recording your own notes away from home or office.

    Sharing Information from Notes

    There are four ways you can share your notes with your contacts, friends or simply send to your
    own email address for any reasons.

    1. Share though Book, Page or Object


     A new window opens
     Enter Email Addresses
     Add Custom Message
     Allow Permission for Read Only or Read/Write to the recipient
     Click Share
     Click Done
    2. Publish your Book, Page, or Object
     A new window will open
     Default tab is General
     It will ask permission to publish, which means your notes will be accessible to
    everyone online
     Click Publish
     The second tab will activate, Embed
     It will give you the link where the notes have been published
    3. Export your Book or Page in either MHTML or HTML formats. MHTML is short for
    MIME HTML, which is an HTML within an email.
     Click on the option you want to export your book or page in
     A download window will open
     Save and open in a folder
    4. Print your Book or Page
     It will open the print preview in another tab or explorer window
     A new window with printing options will appear on top
     Select the printer and printing option
     Click Print
    Working in Zoho Notebook is as simple as it looks. Keep doing what you want to do, and the
    functions operate smoothly according to it.
