MARKET INSIGHTS: On Tuesday Sep 14 2010, The key benchmark indices rose for the sixth

straight day on data showing heavy buying by foreign funds during the past two trading
INDEX Close Chg Chg sessions on Thursday, 9 September 2010 and Monday, 13 September 2010. Data showing
Sensex 19347 139 0.72% easing of inflation also helped equities score further gains. The BSE Sensex and the 50-
Nifty 5795 35 0.61% unit S&P CNX Nifty scaled 32-month highs. The focus today, 14 September 2010, was on
large-cap stocks as many mid and small-cap stocks declined on profit booking after
Midcap 8061 -51 -0.63% recent strong gains. The market breadth was weak. The BSE 30-share Sensex was
Smallcap 10195 -77 -0.75% provisionally up 146.40 points or 0.76%, up about 140 points from the day's low and
down close to 130 points from the day's high. Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, HDFC
VALUE TRADED (Rs Crs) Chg Bank, Infosys and TCS hit record highs. ICICI Bank scaled 52-week high. European
stocks reversed initial gains. US index futures were in the red. Asians stocks were mixed.

As per provisional figures, the BSE 30-share Sensex was up 146.40 points or 0.76% to

19,354.73. The index rose 278.69 points at the day's high of 19,487.02 in morning trade,
F&O Total 156375 4.83% its highest level since 18 January 2008. The index rose 9.80 points at the day's low of
19218.13 in early trade. The S&P CNX Nifty was up 35.80 points or 0.62% at 5,795.80, as
NET INFLOWS (Rs Crs) Chg per provisional figures. The index hit high of 5,838.45, in morning trade, its highest
level since 18 January 2008.

European shares fell after German investor confidence fell more than expected. The

key benchmark indices in UK and Germany were down by 0.15% and 0.23%. France's
CAC 40 was flat. In other Asian markets, the key benchmark indices in Singapore and
FII OPEN INTEREST (Crs) Chg South Korea fell by 0.20% to 0.59%. But, the key benchmark indices in China, Hong
FII Index Futures 20063 -1.37% Kong and Taiwan rose by 0.01% to 0.51%. The Indonesian stock market was closed for
a trading holiday.

Crude Oil (US$/bl) 79.0 0.00% was hovering at 8.07%, lower than Monday's close of 8.10%.

TECHNICAL VIEW: Well current Euphoria and strong global cues once again drive the investor sentiments to the new
highs as domestic indices posted substantial returns on the close. For the upcoming sessions we believe the same scenario
though upcoming news both from the domestic and global mediums will matter the most. On technical grounds we have
witnessed a sharp rally from the last six consecutive sessions. Usually such sharp moves encountered with the correction of 38-
50% of the entire rally. Therefore clients are advised to book profits on such rallies and wait for a decent correction to re-enter.
