Borderline was formed in October of 2009 in preparation for front man Casey Brett

to open for recording artist James Otto. The concert was a success for the band so the
members along with help of other organizations and individuals began booking the
band all over the country. In the short time Borderline has been together they have
shared the stage with Jeremy McComb, Ricochet, Ty Herndon, James Otto, Shooting
Star, Lee Brice, Trailer Choir and Jerrod Niemann. In the summer of 2010 Borderline
performed near the Misty Fjords National Monument for eight shows in Alaska. In the
fall of 2010 Borderline performed in front of thousands at the St. Joseph, MO Civic
Arena. Each member of Borderline has taken their own path through music which has
led them to this point of performing many exciting shows in many exciting venues.
Two members of Borderline, Bruce and Seth Hall starred in the 2009 Hollywood
movie, Midnight Reckoning and from 1999 through 2003 they were regulars on the
soap opera “Passions” and “One Life To Live.” Casey Brett lived in Nashville, TN
performing with many national artists while performing showcases for record labels.
Brett also was often found playing the Nashville live music scene. Kelly Whitley, the
most experienced of the group has provided his experience with other bands as a
guideline for the group. Aaron Heim has released two successful original albums in
the Midwest. Borderline has a sound of today’s country music with a red dirt/rock feel
that is a definite crowd pleaser. The band has a young core that strives on providing
great entertainment for everyone’s enjoyment and dancing pleasure.

Casey Brett performs three sets at
annual
Country Stampede in Manhatten, Kan.
Between performing in St. Joe for 10 years and his brief stint performing in
Nashville last year, local country singer/songwriter Casey Brett has
shared the stage with everyone from Dierks Bentley and Richochet to Jake
Owen and Tommy Tutone.

But this weekend, his performance resume is about to get a big boost.

Brett has been asked to perform at the annual Country Stampede music
festival on June 25, 26 and 27 in Manhattan, Kan.

Considering that this year's Country Stampede will feature some of the
biggest country stars in the business, including Tim McGraw, Phil Vasser,
Zac Brown Band, Kellie Pickler, Brett knows this isn't just any gig.

Country for a cause: Buffalo Bar hosts benefit concert for Becky Klino
Thursday, June 17, 2010 8:03 PM

Jun. 17--Chances are you don't know Becky Klino, but you probably know of her son, Branson Perry.
You've undoubtedly seen his face on flyers and billboards around the area. He has been missing since
2001, but the tireless search for him has continued at the hand of his mother, who refuses to give up.

However, the search for Perry recently hit a bump in the road -- a big one. In April 2009, a tumor was
removed from Klino's brain and she was diagnosed with stage IV melanoma. At the time, doctors told her
she had six months to live They also rounded up some local country artists to donate their time and
musical stylings Saturday. Erin Hatcher will perform at 2:30 p.m., Scott Allyn Peery will follow at 4 p.m.
and Casey Brett and Bruce Hall of Borderline will take the stage at 6 p.m. An auction will be held at 7:30
p.m. and all of the country musicians will get together for a performance afterward. in Scottsdale right
now, but she needs approximately $20,000 more to receive all of the treatments.

Allen and Lake quickly sprang into action and organized an all-day benefit concert, which will be held at
the Buffalo Bar from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. June 19. All proceeds -- every cover charge, every beer or soda
purchased, every single dollar that goes to the Buffalo Bar that day -- will go to Klino to pay for her
treatments.
"It's so easy to help," Allen says. "You know, everybody can eat a hot dog. Everybody can drink a pop."

Casey Brett says he and Hall have a set of originals and cover songs prepared for the event.

"It's all about getting people there and keeping people there," Brett says. "We all need to support Becky
in her time of need. ... I can't imagine anyone going through what she's been through."

If Klino's heartbreaking story or the country artists won't get you down there, maybe some of the
donated auction prizes will. A trip to Las Vegas, an antique armoire, concert tickets, autographed
memorabilia, Budweiser and Miller merchandise and Elvis Presley and Dale Earnhardt memorabilia are
among the many prizes.

For more information on the benefit concert, call the Buffalo Bar at 390-8444. To donate money for
