INTRODUCTION TO ECONOMY
The economy of India is the 11th largest economy in the world
by nominal GDP and 4th largest by purchasing power parity. The
country began to develop a fast paced economy growth, as free
market principle were initiated in 1990 for international
competition and foreign investment . according to the book
contours of the world economy 1-2030AD by Angus Madison
India was the largest economy from the year 1 AD until the
colonial period According to BRIC report published by gold man
Sachs India will be the second largest economy after china by
2043.
The total National Income of India is Rs 57 lack cores and the
per capita income is Rs 47000.

6.5% growth in 2006
9.0% growth in 2007
6.6%growth in 2008
7.4%growth in 2009
8.8%growth in 1st quarter of 2010.
The Indian economy is divided into 3 sector namely agricultural
sector, industrial sector and service sector. The employment
generation in agriculture sector is 52% Industrial sector 14%
and service sector 34%. The contribution to India’s total
national income of agricultural sector is 52% industrial sector is
28% and service sector is 55%. Thus agricultural sector province
the highest employment (52%) where the service sector
accounts for the highest GDP (55%).
INTRODUCTION TO INDUSTRY
Ice cream is a frozen desert usually made from dairy products,
such as milk and cream, and often combined with fruits or
other ingredients and flavors.
The ice cream industry in India is worth a whopping
$61.6billion; having a consumption of 15 billion liters of ice
cream annually in which Asia consumes about 5 billion liters of
ice creams amounting to $13 billion
The ice cream industry in India is worth Rs 2000 cores. It is
growing with a rate of 12% every year 40% of the total ice
cream production of India is consumed just in the western India
i.e. Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan whereas north , south
& east consumes 30%,20%and 10% respectively.
Amul ranks 1st in terms of the market share having captured
38% of total market second come kwality walls with market
share 14% whereas vadilal & mother dairy comes 3rd and 4th
.with market share 12% and 8% respectively. The rest 28%
market share is collectively enjoyed by all other local brands.
INTRODUCTION TO COMPANY
HAVMORE ICE CREAM begin its branded life in1944 in Karachi ,
in undivided India. By 1947, it was a popular local brand there.
But in1947, in the wake of the partition, its founder satish
chona had to join the exodus into India, with virtually no
moveable assets. Searching for a new turf, he tried out Dehra
Dun and Indore and finally, settled down in Ahmadabad.
It is all began with “HAVMORE founder Shri DINELATH CHOVD”
of carry home ice cream in lard. He learned the art of ice cream
making. In fact, he had to begin from a hand-cart at the
Ahmadabad railway station, churning out the ice cream
manually.
He has called this fledgling brand “HAVMORE” a neologism for
“HAV MORE” by day the satisfaction of customer increased
which became Havmore very famous.
Today Havmore ice cream is a delicious facet of western India’s
daily life and part of its market lore. It reaches hundreds of
thousands of customers through 50 main outlets and 1200 plus
dealers.

Mr. Pradeep chona , son of the late Shri Satish chona today has
continued his father’s quality obsession and streak of
innovation.
To his father’s motto-“Achchai Sachchai, safai”. He added a

technology, quality & hygiene standards.
Sometime back Ankit Chona Mr.Pradeep chona son also joined
the business after completing his graduation from the United
States. He also has made many renovations and changes in the
company. He has also started restaurant of fast food knows as

because each goods have two side facts and dissuade fact.
When the production is complete there is need for
checking of the sample of ice cream in this process they
find good quality then they supply the goods market
otherwise they reject the goods.
