WHAT IS A NOUN?
-A noun names a person, place, or thing.

NOUNS
-Nouns name a person, place, or thing, but they do not name a
specific person,
place, or thing. Nouns can name actual objects: Examples: football, game, cat, mouse, garage, house, door, wall, building, church. And show feelings: Examples: Anger, love, power, friendship
PROPER NOUNS
-A proper noun names a specific person, place, or thing. Such as: Mrs. Silva, Matthew, Las Vegas, Nevada, Catherine, Nick, and even days of the week. All of these name someone or something specifically. -Must start with a capital letter!
PRONOUNS
Pronouns take the place of nouns.
Nick is the noun. He is the pronoun. It takes the place of the noun,
