Site Location
The proposed site for this project is located at North of existing Ennore Port and South of Pulicat Lake along the Coromandel Coast near Kattupalli hamlet , North Chennai, India. 1. Geographical data Longitude (DMS) 80 20 45.5 E Latitude (DMS) 13 18 51,5 N 2. Access to the Site: The proposed project area can be accessed through the existing roads developed by North Chennai Thermal Power Station and Ennore Port. The Kattupalli site is in close proximity to the National Highway (NH 4, NH 5 & NH 45) leading to Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore, respectively 3. Crane Location, Site Conditions and Limitations: Located at shipbuilding yard at water front facing open sea. 4. 15. Power Supply. You can use 1.1 KV or higher for main drive motors.. Normal three phase power is 440 V 10%, 50 Hz 3%. Single phase power is 220 V, 50Hz. 16. Crane Design Classification: Suitable for shipyard use in open sea weather conditions. 17. Coating System: - Compatible to Marine environment and have minimum life of 05 years 18. Long Travel Motion. In accordance to standard practice. 19. Cross Travel Motion. Maximum possible in 165.5 Clear span. 20. Service Crane : Slewing and luffing Service Crane Required, Capacity 10 t at 10 m Radius. 21. Operator Cabin: Insulated and Air Conditioned with all controls located at sides and top only, leaving a front and bottom clear view of the hooks. Wireless communication system to be provided for at least 3 stations. 34.
