    Chapter 4 was a call to follow Christ. Proceed to the high, lighted route. Protect your heart.

    This weeks main point.


    Its not about the women. Its about the worship! No idols. Chapter Outline The 23 verses of chapter three are broken into 2 sections. - A warning - A way out

    A Warning
    Proverbs 5 Verses 1 & 2 Once again we hear a fathers earnest pleading with his beloved son. Dont ever forget that this tug of war exist because of who you are in Christ. You are a son. If your father loves you he will instruct you. Wisdom will help you make great decisions, it will help you conduct your life in a way that empowers and protects you. It will also teach you what to say and what not to say. Verses 3-5 Here we have a description of an immoral woman. Key words: her lips and her words are sweet (like honey) and smooth. The women with the smooth words AND the beauty tend to get their way. Deception has to be smooth enough to feel like truth or it really isnt deception. You cannot judge a woman by how she makes you feel. You cant judge a woman by whether or not she is sweet or smooth. Sweet and smooth dont equal right! Everybody starts out on a good foot but what happens when you get down into the relationship?

    Have you ever had a relationship with a woman that started out great but ended in nothing but pain and drama? I bet when you started out she was smooth. She told you exactly what you wanted to hear. You liked the way she talked to you. Then you got really involved only to feel like youve been run through with a sword. She is on a path. Theres the path again. Her path leads to devastation. She can be so sincere in connecting with you because of her ignorance. When she tells you she wont hurt you she really means that. When she tells you it will be ok, she means that. She is just getting what she wants. She thinks shes giving you what you want. The absence of guilt and remorse is due to the fact that she is ignorant of the fact that she is on a death path. The women who pulled Solomon out of his trust relationship with God did so as a function of worship. They were trying to be true to their truth. She doesnt think about tomorrow. She doesnt care. If it feels good do it. She is driven by her feelings and the feelings she gives you. Verses 7-14 How To Deal With Immoral Women Its the same thing we learned about dealing with evil men. Stay away. Dont try to manage the relationship. Stay away! Dont even go near her. Theres nothing to ght, control or manage if you dont have a relationship with her to begin with. We can just be cool, we can just be friends is not a real option. If you have to hide the relationship from your family and friends, if you couldnt have your conversations recorded and played back on TV and radio then youre not in a proper relationship with her. The Conclusion Its not about the women. Its about the worship. No idols. The Challenge What idols need to be torn down in your life? Grow. Help others grow. Be Encouraged. Wisdom House Publishing
