International Foundation Programme

If you would like to study at Royal Holloway, but do not meet the requirements for direct entry to an undergraduate degree, you can take the International Foundation Programme at the International Study Centre, which will ensure you gain the skills and knowledge to succeed. International Foundation Programme The International Foundation Programme is a three-term programme which aims to provide you with the academic and English language skills you require to succeed at undergraduate level. It has been developed by Royal Holloways academic staff and is delivered by the International Study Centre to ensure you receive the best possible preparation for the range of degree programmes the College has to offer. Direct progression to your degree Joining the International Foundation Programme guarantees that you will receive a conditional offer of a degree place at Royal Holloway. On successful completion of the programme and having met the required grades, you will proceed directly to your preferred degree programme.

Universitystyle teaching The International Foundation Programme introduces you to the style of teaching that you will experience when you progress onto your degree. You will experience small group and individual tutorials, seminar style classes and larger group lectures. Access to university facilities The International Study Centre is based on Royal Holloway, University of Londons campus within easy reach of the on campus accommodation, IT services, the Library and the Students Union.

Study structure On the International Foundation Programme (IFP), you can choose one of five streams. On each stream, you will study three modules in total, of which two are compulsory and one is an elective.
