Glimpses of the Kingdom of God When we talk about the Kingdom of God, the vision and idea of a large
number of people including majority of Bible Scholars and Ministers, is that of a vast space of cloud where spirits move about and the daily pre-occupation is nothing more than singing, praying and worshipping without any opportunity for fun and enjoyment!!! Life hereafter, the new earth has remained a most sacred mystery of serious anxiety and nervousness for the human race. What would the place look like? What shall we look like? Will there be any death, illness, worries, work, marriage, pregnancy, birth...? The questions are insatiably endless - it is an unsettled issue of serious emlting pot of worry, curiosity, agitation and even obsession. Even to the angels of heaven 9! Peter 1:10-12) Let us get the bits and fragments from the scripture and visions, and then put them into a complete picture. The Lord God spoke through Isaiah, Amos(5:18-22), Joel(2) and Zephaniah(1:18) and 2Peter(3:7-10) that the existing heaven and earth and all elements in them shall be burnt into ashes with intense fire. No simple work of man shall survive or remain. The seas which presently form 75% of the entire surface of the earth and the entire over 250,000 different species of living things in them shall be found no more (Rev. 2:1) The sun, the moon and the galaxy of stars will melt off with fervent heat like wax. (See Isaiah 24:23, Joel 2:10, 2 Peter3). The entire earth shall be totally broken down, and dissolved - it will become a complete desolation (Isaiah 24:19-20) However, the foundation on which the earth is currently standing is forever established and will therefore remain to carry the new earth of purity and righteousness (Psalm 104:5, Job 38:4-6). " 1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." 5He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." 6He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liarstheir place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." 10And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel... 18The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.[d]

The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass. 22I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life." Nations: The new earth shall be configured with a number of nations, a confederation of nations far greater in number than the existing ones, because there shall be no more seas again to deprive humanity and angels of adequate land for settlement. For the new earth will be an abode for humans and angels - each nation under a king and all kings of the earth under the King of all kings - lord and Savior Jesus Christ whose Throne shall remain in Jerusalem. (References: Rev. 2:26-28, Rev. 21:24-27, Hebrews 12:22-24. Isa. 65:17-19) The entire government of the new earth/world shall be on His shoulder of the Lord Jesus who shall be called 'Wonderful, Counselor, The Might God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace, Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end. His government shall be established with judgment and justice. (Isa. 9:12) The Inhabitants of the New World The lord Jesus Chris shall remain the Messiah and the King of king. We shall see him face to face )Rev 22:4) The angels shall also dwell with human beings in the new world. We shall see them face to face, interact with one another, and together, worship God. (References: Matthew 22:30, Rev, 21:3, Heb. 12:22-24) Human Beings The redeemed of the Lord. Those who during their lifetime had accepted Jesus Christ into their lives as the Lord and Savior, who had kept His commandments, statutes, testimonies and judgment. Those who had washed themselves clean of idolatry, adultery, fornication, false-witnessing, lying, stealing, murder, covetousness, drunkenness, homosexuality of unrighteousness. Those who had passed through various great tribulations without denying their Lord or compromising their faith. They will look exactly the way they looked one earth but with physical bodies of immortality. We shall recognize and know ourselves. Carnivores like lions, leopard, tigers...etc would become domestic animals, eating grass and star without any harmful. Weather: There shall be no sun or moon, there shall be no night or darkness. There shall be no heat or cold. The glory of God and the Lamb shall lighten the Nation and the weather shall remain the that if spring eventide. (see Isaiah 24:23, Rev. 21:23-25. Special Values: We shall live forever in peace, love, joy, good health and full knowledge of God. There shall be no death or illnesses. Thee shall be no sorrow, misery, bitterness, hatred or pain. There shall be no marriages, pregnancy and travail. The entire world shall be filled with the knowledge of God. Nothing that could hurt or offend would be found there!!! (See Isaiah 11:6-9, Isaiah 65:25, Rev. 22:3-5) We would live in houses build with the most precious stones, rare stones such as jasper, topaz, sapphires...The earth shall no longer produce brires and thorns but fruit and hobs and all sorts of food that will satisfy our desires. Before we open our mouths to request, it is already done (Isa 65:24)
