5mm [US H-8].Yarn needle, Three ½” buttons, Sewing needle and matching sewing thread.
GAUGE:
 14 sc = 4”; 17 rows sc = 4”.
CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.To change colors:
 Work to last 2 loops on hook of working color, drop working color and pick up new color, pull new color through last 2 loops on hook.Sc rounds are worked in a spiral unless otherwise noted to  join at end of round.

Fold bottom of hat up ½” to right side for a brim. Sew aps
to inside of hat on opposite sides.

off and tie at one end with a separate piece of yarn, cut loops at the other end. Wrap yarn around the top of the tassel several times and weave in ends. Tie pom-pom to the top of hat and trim ends to 1” long.
