Premise: A Christianity Worth Thinking About - TONIGHT! 6pm
Make plans to join us tonight as we tackle what has been called the Achilles Heel
of Christianity, namely, The Problem of Evil. In this first part of a two part series,
Glen Torhjelm will be tackling this challenge to belief in Christianity.
Potluck Sunday: Next Week
On the first Sunday of every month, we celebrate a meal together after the service.
These are intentional times of meeting new friends and catching up with an old
friend. We want to be intentional in seeking to build relationships and our monthly
potluck luncheons are a perfect opportunity to do so. Please bring food for yourself /
your family plus extra to share with our guests.
Our Annual Church Retreat: August 22-24
Its time to mark your calendars for our 2nd annual church retreat held at Camp
Evergreen. Our plan was to have this retreat over the September long weekend, but
the retreat centre suffered the loss of one of its main building due to collapse from
snow. To accommodate our retreat, they have reserved the weekend of August 22-24
(the week before the September long weekend) for New City Church. Registration
forms are available in the lobby.
