**Cafeteria Workers Food Service Training in cafeteria teachers lounge **August 14, 8:00am-2:00pm:
**Please note the training date has been changed to August 14. Contact Terry Hilton at extension 1703 for more information.
**FCS Meet & Greet Social in the cafeteria Thursday, Aug. 14, 4:30-6:30pm:
Parents are invited to the FCS cafeteria to meet the administration & staff for the 2014-15 school year. Also, enjoy delectable food items
prepared by our award winning FCS Cafeteria Staff.
**Classroom assignments/schedules WI LL NOT be given out at this time. Registration packets will be available.
**Seahawk Booster Club Organizational Meeting in the football concession stand Thursday, Aug. 14, 6:30pm:
Parents & community members are invited to attend the first Booster Club meeting of the school year. Please come out to this very
important organizational meeting to see how YOU CAN SUPPORT OUR SEAHAWKS!
**SGA Meeting in room 1105 Friday. Aug. 15, 10:00am:
SGA members are to meet in Ms. Jennifer Edwards room at 10:00am to discuss future meeting dates & approving orders for
upcoming events.

**School Advisory Council (SAC) Meeting in room 117 Tuesday, Aug. 19, 6:00pm:
The SAC meetings are scheduled for the 3
rd
Tuesday of each month in the FCS front office conference room at 6:00pm.
Parents, students, & community members are welcome to attend!
**Band Practice Schedule starting Aug. 18:
Starting next week, band practice will be every Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday after school- 2:30-4:30pm.

**Child Find Pre-K Screenings: Sept. 18

- FDLRS/PAEC & Franklin County Schools will co-sponsor screenings to identify
children, ages 3-4 years old, with special needs. If you child is not enrolled in public school or Head Start & is suspected of having a vision,
speech, or developmental disability. Must schedule an appointment for the screening: call Dr. J ennifer Adams at 850-767-5300 or Beth

**The Federal McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act states that children & youth who lack a fixed, regular, & adequate
nighttime residence are considered homeless. If, due to a loss of housing, a child must live in a shelter, motel, vehicle,
campground, on the street, in abandoned buildings, or doubled-up with relatives or friends, then he/she is eligible to receive
