    Spring is in the air at Honey Island! We are enjoying this
    beautiful weather and looking forward to FINISHING
    STRONG during the last few weeks of school!

    During the month of May, our students will enjoy field trips,
    Water Day, Singing Bees Performance, and AR Celebration.
    We will have great fun ending our school year!

    So many of you have volunteered during this school year and
    we would like to recognize and honor you on Friday, May 16
    at 2pm. If you have been a part of making this year a success
    with your volunteerism, please join us for the SWEET
    SOIREE! Your support is what helps make Honey Island a
    great school!

    The last day of school for students is Friday, May 23. It is a
    half day and there will be no after care. Report Cards will be
    mailed home the following week.

    Our Back-to-School Meet and Greet will be on
    Wednesday, August 6 from 10:30am until noon. New
    Student Orientation will be on Wednesday, August 6 at
    10am.

    I hope you all have a beautiful summer! I will miss our 3rd
    grade students who are moving on to Little Oak Middle
    School. I know they are ready to make an positive
    impression as 4th graders. I look forward to seeing our
    returning students, as well as our new students in August.

    Thank you for another year of making Honey Island the
    school where Every Day, Every Child Succeeds!
