Controls and Features
Hygienic and easy to clean as there are no gaps
around the buttons where dirt and bacteria
can accumulate.
No moving parts also means no wear of the
buttons, offering equal performance over the
entire life of the product
The system is designed to work out-of-the box,
with hardly any technical expertise required:
Wiring is easy, shielded Cat5 cables from
unit to unit. While connecting there is no
need to worry about the IN and OUT port as
the unit detectes the direction of the signal
ow automatically. This makes cabling errors
virtually impossible.
Next to this there is no initialisation procedure
required. After wiring the system, it is ready
for operation. Plug-and-Play, up and running
in no time, ideal for frequent changing
environments.

CENTRAL CONTROL UNIT
The D-Cerno CU is the heart of the system
meant to control small to mid-sized meetings.
The technology inside D-Cerno is based
on the same processing principles as the
technology incorporated in Televics agship
products of the top range, yet streamlined
to t the market segment it is meant for :
Entry level discussion systems.
The system is unique within this range of the
market segment as it is completly based on
digital signal processing. It controls 50 delegate
units and can be expanded upto 150 units by
a master / slave conguration with multiple
central units.
The delegate units are connected in daisy chain
over the 4 bus connections ( 4 branches or 2
closed loops). When cabled in loop, a patent
pending redundancy mechanism garantees
that the system continues to work, should a
cable break or be disconnected for some
reason.

the touch sensor buttons and a large LCD menu.
To guide the meeting several conference modes
are implemented. Direct access, Request, Push
to talk, FIFO, Vox control.
Design wise, D-Cerno offers a central unit
that speaks the same language in shape and
appearance.
Having no fan, it is absolutely silent and can
be placed in the room, near the chairman or
delegates without any concern for fan noise.
As a result, it can easily be set on the table with
the delegate units, forming a stylish ensemble.
Next to connecting delegate units, the central
unit also has the necessary in- and outputs
to connect to other equipment such as room
amplication, wireless microphones or video
conference systems, ...
Contributing to the environment it has a power
saving mode going into a sleep state when the
system has been left on accidentally.
