    The Professional Regulation Commission released results of marine deck officer licensure exams given in November 2014 in Manila and Cebu.

    The Master Mariner, Chief Mate and Officer-In-Charge of a Navigational Watch licensure exams were given in November 2014. A total of 61 examinees were exempted from the practical exams by submitting alternative certificates.

    Registration for certificates and ID cards will start on November 25. The date for the oath-taking ceremony will be announced later. Application for the practical assessment is November 20-24 and it will be conducted on December 1-6.

    RESULTS RELEASED IN TWO (2) WORKING DAYS

    The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 40 out of 114 passed the Master
    Mariner Licensure Examination, 263 out of 678 passed the Chief Mate Licensure Examination and
    1,329 out of 2,529 passed the Officer-In-Charge of a Navigational Watch Licensure Examination given by
    the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila and Cebu this November 2014. A total of 61 examinees
    are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and
    Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).
    The members of the Board for Marine Deck Officers who gave the licensure examinations are
    Capt. Jaime D. Aquino, Chairman; Capt. Ireneo U. Delos Santos, Capt. Romeo C. Abuyuan and
    Capt. Marsolito A. Cruz, Members.
    The results were released after two (2) working days from the last day of examinations.
    The guidelines for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Cards
    are as follows:
    1.) Registration for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Cards
    will start on November 25, 2014. The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new
    successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
    2.) Filing of application for practical assessment will be on November 20-24, 2014
    3.) Conduct of practical assessment is on December 1-6, 2014

    The successful examinees who garnered the seven (7) highest places in the November 2014
    MASTER MARINER Licensure Examination (Written Phase) are the following:
