The foundation of all team building is having shared goals to which all
team members are committed. Team building can be productive if it
establishes or builds on those goals, but in the absence of such goals,
time and money spent on team building can be a waste of time or even
counter-productive.
Work environments tend to focus on individuals and personal goals,
with reward & recognition singling out the achievements of individual
employees. How to create effective teams is a challenge in every
organization is the question. Team building can also refer to the
process of selecting or creating a team from scratch.
There are certain reasons for which we have to build a team for giving
the business effectiveness and efficiency.
Team building helps the organization to improve the communication
between the employees so that people at workplace enjoy their time

members that can be overcome by consulting each other and that

These are some types of teams. Problem solving is the team which is
formed to solve particular problem in any business or organization.
Cross functional team is something that members are taken from the
same level. Then comes the virtual teams. Virtual team is the team in
which members don’t interact with each other physically but through
any digital medium. In the last, their comes self managed team in
which people are in the team but they do their work independently.
By looking at the above data, there are many advantages of team like
there is a very good saying that is “Two heads are better than one”.
That means you have more choices and options as there are more than
one member in the team.
While ultimate responsibility rests with the team leader, not much can
be achieved without an effective team. The team structure allows
those who have strengths in a particular area to take more
responsibility for that area.
