Materials

Horse Piem turns out at a size of 20 cm with the yarn I used (sockyarn). If you are using cotton
yarn she turns out at a size of 26 cm, in that case use bigger safety eyes.
Yarns
I used the following yarns:
Brown for the head, body, arms and legs,
Annell Super Extra, color: 2932 (+/- 40 gr)
White for the head marking, arms and legs,
Regia Uni 4-ply, color: 1992
Light brown for the arms and legs,
Atelier Zitron Trekking XXL color: 201
Naturel/creme for the mane and tail,
Regia Uni 4-ply color: 17
Pink for the headcollar,
A rest of pink yarn
Dark grey for the horseshoes,
A rest of dark grey yarn

Head marking
Make with white yarn a foundation chain of 2 and start in the
2th ch from hook. Work 2sc inc, ch and turn work around.

Cut the yarn and make sure you leave enough yarn to sew
the marking onto the head. Attach the marking between row
12 and 26.
Headcollar
The headcollar has two parts. The part around the muzzle
and the part around the head.
Part around the muzzle:
Make with pink yarn a foundation chain of 35 and start in
the 2th ch from hook. Work 34 hdc.
Cut the yarn and make sure you leave enough yarn to
attach the headcollar onto the head. Turn the piece to the
muzzle (row 16-17) and sew both ends together.
Part around the head:
Make with pink yarn a foundation chain of 41 and start in
the 2th chain from hook. Work 40 hdc.
Cut the yarn and make sure you leave enough yarn to
attach the piece onto the head.

Mane
Cut of sand colored yarn strands about 15 cm tall (100 pieces approx). Knot the threads 1 by 1 onto the head.
Beginning between the ears and work down to the back of the head (knot 4 wires side by side).
Skip 2 rows by the headcollar (see photo for reference).
For a fluffy effect, you can comb the mane with a tooth comb.
Tail
In the same way knot 4 wires of sand colored yarn (35 cm approx) side by side on row 10-13 of the body. Now
use two wires together during knots.
