TERM 1 CLASS MAJOR PERFORMANCE TASK
JUNIOR LEVEL
PROJECT TITLE: MORALITY SKITPLAYLIST
GOAL: To present a morality skit (role play without dialogue but just pure acting or/and
dancing) with the theme primarily revolving around the violations committed against the
dignity of the human person. To artistically/dramatically present the various challenges of
man in society primarily the Filipino teenagers and how such can be addressed or resolved
utilizing the principles and knowledge learned in Term 1 lessons on Christian Morality.
ROLE: You are a stage performer tasked to present a skit play (story done through actions
and dance without the aid of any dialogue) that will promote the value and importance of
respecting the dignity of the human person.
AUDIENCE: Young people in your school, De La Salle Santiago Zobel.
SITUATION: Your CL Teacher assigned your class to promote the dignity of the human
person from how it can be violated (how it is presently/currently being violated in our
society) and how can it be remedied.
PERFORMANCE TASK: Using your class collaborative efforts, skills, talents and
leadership, come up with a unique, original, creative, refreshing and youthful (not boring!)
skit play to be performed at the CPA on September 4, Friday from 1PM onwards during the
performance task week.
Other mechanics:
1. The song for the skit will be pre-chosen by each class on a first-come-first served
basis. There should be no similarity as to song choice. The CL teachers will
monitor.
2. Each class director and co-director will present their concept to the CL teacher for
approval.
3. A minimum of 25-35 performers is encouraged so as to maximize the potentials,
skills and talents of each class.
4. Songs must be sung live and with live accompanying musical instruments.
5. Practices outside of school will not be allowed. Automatic deduction of 20 points for
violators.
6. The whole entire song should not be more than 8 minutes nor be less than
2minutes.

7. The over-all director of each class will submit the names for the special award to
their CL teacher
8. Judges decision is final and beyond appeal.
