THE NEW DONATED BUILDING

TO BUILD STUDENTS BRIGHTER FUTURE

School Year 2013-2014 is approaching to school setting again. The biggest school of Abra is
expecting a big number of enrollees from different municipalities. Thus, it needed spaces, rooms,
and buildings are again becoming crowded to feed the learning place of students. Fortunately, as the
opening of the school year started there is a blessing from our active Congresswoman.
The new ongoing constructed building of ASIST is located in its new east sight of the school
premises. This building was donated by congresswoman Joy V. Bernos under the leadership of the
school president, Mr. Aurelio Labanen. And the expected name of the building is Cong. Joy
Building. The school administrations, staff, stakeholders, teachers and parents are very much
thankful of the new donated building, because its a great help. This will serve as a conducive
learning place in molding and refining the ASIST students for their brighter future to make them
globally competitive in their chosen fields. This is through the great and joint efforts of professors,
instructors and teachers of the school. The new donated building is expected to be done until
October 2013- before the opening of the second semester S.Y. 2013-2014.

ON THE JOB ORDER EMPLOYEES

DOES FINISHING THE MASTERS DEGREE A GUARANTEE TO BECOME REGULAR
EMPLOYEE OF ASIST?
The school has some or shall we say many ON THE JOB ORDER EMPLOYEES
Why is it that you need to be a Job Order Employee and yet you knew by yourself that you can be
an effective teacher, you can able to impart the needed knowledge of the students? But the POLICY
is you should be a Masters Degree before you become regular employee of the said prestigious
school of Abra. So therefore, policy is always be a POLICY to follow and abide. But what are the
needed requirements to become a Job Order Employee of the school?
You should finish your Bachelor Degree, passed or have an average percentage in the
interview and demo teaching, and shall we include the whom you know policy? But if someone
hired as On the Job Order Employee of the school, is the salary sufficient to sustain the needs of the
employee? Is the schedule reasonable or manageable? What if, if the On the Job Order Employee
dont have enough financial needs to pursue his or her Masters Degree? Does he or she become a
forever a Job Order Employee until he or she retires in the service?
So far as of this time according to one On the Job Order Employee we interviewed. The
monthly salary is P507.59 /day which is already sufficient to her needs because shes still single, but
how about if the employee has a family to support, is the salary enough? As of this time she is busy
in her extra time to finish her Masters Degree.
So, we consider that being a Job Order Employee is not that bad because if you finished
your Masters Degree, there is 80% chance that you will be appointed regular employee in the said
school. But the huge question as long as regularity of position is concern, what if, if there are
applicants also who comes from other institutions, who are immediately finish their Masters
Degree, than those who are Job Order Employees in this school? Do they have reserve positions
waiting for them? If ever that the school is hiring those Masters Degree holders came from other
institutions. But according, shes hoping to become a regular employee as long as she finished her
Masters Degree because she believed that administrators will follow the POLICY of the school.

KNOW ME
Im the only child. My only brother died last 2011 because of heart attack,he died at the age of
33.My father also gone because of motorcycle accident 2004.Im married woman,i gave birth my
first daughter 2010 but unfortunately she didnt survived, she also left us,Before,I hated God why?Is
these pains were suffering were His planned for us?But they say God doesnt give you pains if he
know that you cannot able to cope with it.To encounter these experiences is not easy.As of now, I
have one year old daughter,my husband, and my mother.
In my married life, its not that happy. My husband worked in a private company in Cavite for
almost 10 years. We have a long distance relationship before, but still we came up to a marriage last
2009.He resigned to that company last 2010.He decided to gave up his work to stay with us.But as
of that time he was employed LGU in Bucay.
When the time that I was about to gave birth, with falling tears my husband talked to me,that
he wanted to tell me something. The first thing that came out to my mind, was he had a mistress. So I
asked him,but he said NO.I have a 4 year old son with my supervisor before. Those words from him
maked me cry for how many days. So,instead of reaching my due date Dec 24,I gave birth earlier
December 15.Because of emotional pains I had.He never told to me about that before, that time
was the hardest part of my life. And the most painful part, was I never knew about it.
As of this time we have to stay together for the sake of our daughter. And so far,he dont have
any communication with that woman.I decided to give him another chance, past is past. But if ever
that he will do that for the second time around I think that will be the time for me to give up.....
