1. Guide
1.1 Introduction
This guide is about the Berserker in PvE and PvP.
1.1.1 PvE
Berserker is the second best DD class in the game. With a good mix of DPS and
burst they are receiver Alchemist buffs but are not useless without (looking at
you Kinetic)..
1.1.2 PvP
Berserkers are one of the strongest classes in PvP. They have the strongest
defensive CD in the game, high mobility, cc immunities and massive single target
CC.
If played solo, the Berserker acts as an assassin. You go in, kill 1-3 and then you
jump and run away. Repeat until battle is won.
1.1.3 Unlocking
If you just started unlocking the berserker and you want to play it, unlock these
nodes first. These nodes are the required ones to keep up with damage or
survivability.

1.5 Abilities
This is the best defensive ability in the game. Instead of getting less damage, you
get healed 70% of your received damage after 1 second. With the correct OH this
skill has an uptime of 33%.
With this huge uptime on a 70% ability, you are guaranteed to live longer than
most of your allies. The trade of is that it isnt easy to use. You need to know you
are getting damage before you receive it.
This is your best AoE ability, it even does huge damage single target.
This is your next AoE ability. It is a rather useless one, since it has low damage
and a high CD. Use it when you have no rage for Whirlwind.
This is your offensive CD, use it before you try to burst your enemies and time it
with your other buffs. Without the Berserker symbol this has an uptime of 40%,
with the Berserker symbol it has 46% uptime! This is huge.
This is your mobility spell, you can jump around as you like or focus an ally or
enemy. Once every 20 seconds you can free yourself from a CC (even hard CC)
and get a free jump.
1.6 Talents
With this talent your Battle Frenzy will also generate rage for every hit you take
while its up. If you know what you are doing you can now use Battle Frenzy
offensively.
Your offensive CD now adds additional 25% crit chance? Perfect. Note that this
does not count for the cap, this means you can reach up to 75% crit with this.
This makes you nearly unkiteable, if you leap to an enemy or ally (tooltip is
wrong on this one) that is more than 6 yards away the cd gets reduced by 50%.
Note: The 50% does not include the free yourself of CC part.
Well this makes that your rage generating skills and burst combo are stronger
and faster.
This increases the damage of your signature ability and adds the ability to
increase your damage when you take a risk.
1.6.1 PvE
This makes your damage debuff a little bit stronger, also very strong in AoE
situations.
Only taken when you play with the witch curse or the boss has a shield that must
be destroyed.
Only taken when you need to move. It has only a 10 yards range though which
means it is hard to pull off.
1.6.2 PvP
1.7.2 PvE
1.7.2.1 Burst vs Boss
condition: > 270 Rage
Destructive Wave -> Thirst for Battle -> 2x (3x LMB -> 1x RMB) -> Crippling Blow
1.7.2.3 AoE
condition: > 3 enemies
Destructive Wave -> Thirst for Battle -> Firstorm/Whirlwind (repeat if possible) ->
Tectonic Blast
This means that we can stay in shit that hits us multiple times but does not too
much damage to generate rage. Only do this if you know what you are doing.
So this adds an interesting interaction. If the boss you are fighting against has an
ability that will drop you below 45% of your health, you can soak that up with
Battle Frenzy and get a free damage boost.
Once again: Only do this if you know what you are doing.
Also first let you drop below 45% before you use your healing potion, this will
further increase your damage.
Note: you can hold on to the buff for a while since it has an unlimited duration.
1.7.3 PvP
1.7.3.1 Burst
condition: > 270 Rage
Crippling Blow -> 1x LMB ->1x RMB -> 2x (3x LMB -> 1x RMB) -> Crippling Blow

1.7.3.4 Gladiator
Gladiator in PvP is mostly used as a constant gapcloser and to cut your enemies
in to million pieces.
Does the Witch have all of its dashes ready? Is your leap on cooldown? Has the
Archer blown his stun to get away? Then lets go!
Use your Battle Frenzy and your Thrist for Battle right before Gladiator, since
you will not be able to pop it while in gladiator stance. And now comes the hard
part, press as much LMB as possible!
If you have mastered your leap you have mastered 10% of running away. The
next 20% are knowing that your Battle Frenzy speeds you up and when you can
fight someone.
This is something Im unfortunately not able to teach, since you must learn your
limits yourself or you are doomed to decide correctly.

3. FAQ
Q: When crit is more important than accuracy why choose accuracy
chapels?
A: You should reach your 50% crit chance cap without all the crit chapels, since
accuracy has a soft cap (40% with 6 times ultimate strength) you can leave open
some accuracy chapels
Q: EU or NA?
