ETOU Term & Conditions

The ETOU is offered to medium and high voltage consumers who qualify under the categories
of Tariff C1, C2, E1, E1s, E2, E2s, E3 and E3s. The consumers under STR and/or OPTR
are also entitled to opt ETOU scheme by terminating their current STR and/or OPTR
tariff scheme.
The consumers shall enroll for email billing and must provide the correct and valid email
address.
ETOU shall be effective on the day of meter change and/or meter reprogramming.
The billable maximum demand shall be the highest kilowatt registered during the Peak Period
or Mid Peak Period. If the highest maximum demand registered during Peak Period and Mid
Peak period happen to be the same then the maximum demand registered during the Mid
Peak period shall be billable maximum demand.
New supply contract to be signed at respective stations.
ETOU Term & Conditions
The consumers shall be under ETOU scheme for a minimum period of 6 months.
Consumer shall provide written notice to TNB if they wish to terminate the ETOU scheme.
For consumers under ETOU who wish to revert to normal gazetted tariff or vice versa shall
bear all associated cost including meter reprogramming and/or meter change and enter into a
new contract.
Any payments that have been made previously in relation to the ETOU scheme, will not be
refunded.
Upon the termination of the ETOU scheme, customer will be billed according to the normal
gazetted tariff upon payment and installation of the new meter and/or meter reprogramming.
