Extinguishing Control Panel

PCS8300
The PCS8300 provides a cost effective solution for single
area extinguishing system installations, protecting either
small, occupied areas or local applications.
Two detection zones for coincidence operation, controlling
the timed release of extinguishing agent are provided, to-
gether with a separate auxiliary detection zone to operate
the alarms only.
Also featured is a manual release input for the connection of
dedicated extinguishing call points or discharge switches.
A variable discharge delay period of between 10 and 60
seconds can be pre-programmed, to allow evacuation from
occupied areas. An inhibit facility enables the discharge
to be cancelled at anytime during the delay period. The
discharge sequence can be tested, up to the actual firing of
the valve actuator.
The panel can be operated in either manual or auto/manual
mode. When set to the manual mode extinguishant discharge
can only be operated manually. In the auto/manual mode,
extinguishant release is activated either automatically, by an

Panels feature a central membrane type keypad, displaying Monitored extinguishing output
all LED indicators with tactile keys for system control. Monitored remote abort input

LEDs respectively. Discharge and inhibit controls can be Auto/manual selection on panel
located remotely and operated over monitored circuits by Monitored remote manual release
appropriate switch devices (not supplied).
User controls to isolate all detection zones, the manual
release input and the actuator circuit are provided, together
with common auxiliary outputs for fire and fault.
Housed in an attractive flame resistant polycarbonate
enclosure, the panel can be either surface mounted or semi
recess installed.
