Materials: Clark's O.N.T. (2 balls) or J. & P. Coats (1 ball) Mercerized Crochet, size 50.
Milward's steel crochet hook No. 11.
When completed, doily measures about 12 inches in diameter.
Starting at center, ch 10, join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: Ch 4 (to count as 1 tr), make 31 tr in ring. Join with sl st. 2nd rnd: * Ch

5, skip 1 tr, s c in next. Repeat from * around (16 loops). Sl st in 3 sts of first loop. 3rd rnd: * Ch 13, s c in next loop. Repeat from *
around. 4th rnd: * 7 s c in next loop, ch 3, 1 p (to make a p, ch 4 and sl st in 4th ch from hook), ch 3, 1 p, ch 1, 1 p, ch 3, 1 p, ch 3,
7 s c in same loop. Repeat from * around. Break thread. 5th rnd: Attach thread to ch-1 between 2 p's at top of loop of previous rnd.
Ch 12 (to count as 1 d c and ch-9), * d c in ch-1 of next loop, ch 9. Repeat from * around. Join last ch-9 with sl st to 3rd ch of first

after 1st cluster of next group. Repeat from ** around, joining last ch-5 to 1st cluster made. Break off.
