Protective measures to be taken

1. Use PPE like safety belts, lifeline,


helmets, safety shoes, etc. 2. Obtain a
permit before starting the erection
work. 3. Keep the work place neat &
clean. 4. Avoid movement on Mast. 5.
Remove the scrap immediately. 6.
Provide proper working space (min
0.6m).
1. All tools to be carried in a tool -kit
bag. 2. Do not throw or drop materials
from height. 3. Remove scrap from the
mast. 4. Ensure wearing of PPE' by the
workers at low level.
Engage trained, experienced and
authorized operators, signal man and
riggers.

tackles to be used.
Use of Tag lines shall be ensured during
material handling.
Load to be lifted must be as per load
chart/ less than SWL for the particular
